This drop-in support group is offered on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 11-12pm at 790 Bay St., Suite 306 and is for patients taking sedative-hypnotic drugs (benzodiazepines & z-drugs) to help sleep and/or to reduce anxiety and want to taper off these drugs. The group offers lifestyle changes and other solutions (cognitive behavioural strategies and mindfulness) to deal with stress, anxiety, depression and insomnia. It is facilitated by a licensed social worker.
