Using one-on-one counselling, specially trained health care providers encourage, assist and educate patients in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Together, with their health care providers, patients will explore the reasons why they smoke and develop the tools and resources needed to quit smoking. As part of the STOP study, we provide free nicotine replacement therapy including patches, gum, lozenges and inhalers. This study is funded by the Government of Ontario, in partnership with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
