COVID-19 Vaccine Update
December 16th, 2020We are very excited about the COVID-19 vaccine rollout and the hope that this brings after a long and difficult year. Our public health and government agencies have been working around the clock to ensure that the safety and science behind these new therapies is robust and sound.
Many of you have reached out to our offices to express your interest in getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
The COVID-19 vaccine is not available to the general public at this time and it is not clear when it will be.
It is also uncertain how the vaccine will be delivered to the general public (i.e. whether it will be through doctors’ offices or whether individuals will have to travel to centralised locations to be immunised).
We have not been asked to gather names of higher priority patients and we ask that you please not call to inquire about waitlists.
Be assured that we will let you know when we have more specific information.
During this time, it is important to continue to follow public health advice regarding universal masking, handwashing and physical distancing in order to reduce the spread of COVID19.
