Nurse Practitioner covering Shauna Sturgeon while on maternity leave
August 16th, 2014I am very excited to announce Colleen Tower has been hired as our contract Nurse Practitioner to cover Shauna Sturgeon’s maternity leave. Colleen will be with us until mid January 2015 and possibly longer should Shauna decide to take a longer maternity leave.
Colleen earned her MSc(A) from McGill University and a post-graduate certification as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Colleen worked as a NP at St-Mary’s Hospital Family Medicine Centre in Montreal in 2013-14 and as an RN at Montreal General Hospital from 2009 until 2012 in the ICU. Prior to that she worked at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe Claire, in the ICU, from 2007 until 2009.
