Patients registered with Taddle Creek Family Health Team (FHT) have access to a physician, nurse practitioner, or nurse, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to being seen by your primary care provider during the day, urgent medical matters can be addressed by attending a Taddle Creek FHT After Hours Clinic or by contacting the nurse-staffed Telephone Health Advisory Service (THAS).
For urgent medical matters, you can contact our After Hours Clinic (see above for today’s location and phone number). Our After Hours Clinics are held Mon, Tues (x2 locations), Wed & Thurs from 5:00-8:00pm & on weekends (usually Saturday mornings). These are not walk-in clinics and appointments can only be booked on the day itself.
After 8pm and on weekends you can call the Telephone Health Advisory Service (THAS), at 1-866-553-7205. The THAS nurse will assess your healthcare needs and recommend one of the following:
Note: If your care is provided by a nurse practitioner you will need to know the name of the physician your NP registered you under for the THAS nurse. To provide you with the best continuity of care possible, we strongly discourage using walk-in clinics.
