Your Path to Prevention

Description: A 3 month group designed to help individuals living with prediabetes prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes.

 Learning Objectives:

  • What prediabetes is and how it is diagnosed
  • Diabetes prevention via healthy eating and physical activity
  • How to set achievable goals and maintain lifestyle changes

Length: 3 class series*, 2.0 hours each (offered on Tuesday evenings, every other month)
*note: 2 classes will occur a week apart, with a follow up class scheduled after 3 months

Group Leads: Diabetes Nurse Educator, Diabetes Dietitian

Group Size: 10 – 12 (family members are welcome, please inform reception at the time of booking)
