Paediatric Nutrition

(Children 4 months-18 yrs)

(e.g. infant feeding disorders/difficulties, failure to thrive/weight loss, picky eating, autistic spectrum disorder, developmentally delayed children, eating disorders, weight concerns, childhood cardiovascular diseases, allergies, digestive issues, vegetarian diets, epilepsy, behavioural feeding issues).

The dietitian will:

  • Perform comprehensive assessment of child’s diet in the context of the child’s environment, preferences, medical history and family dynamics
  • Provide family-centered education on disease-specific nutrition strategies, assist in creating a balanced, healthy diet and meal environment and promotes a healthy relationship with food
